Mobile Minnow was founded in 2015 by Nikki Martin out of Lonoke, Arkansas. What started as a single truck and a deep understanding of the bait industry has grown into a multi-state hauling operation trusted by dozens of bait shops, distributors, and fish farms across the South.
How it started
Nikki saw a gap in the bait hauling business: too many unreliable carriers, too much product lost in transit, and too little communication between hauler and customer. She bought a truck, custom-fitted it with oxygenation and temperature control systems, and started running routes.
Word spread fast. Bait shops in Arkansas started calling, then Texas, then Oklahoma. Within two years, Mobile Minnow was a full-time operation with a growing fleet and a reputation for showing up, on time, with healthy product.
What drives us
This isn't a side hustle. Bait hauling is specialized work that demands early mornings, mechanical know-how, and an understanding of aquatic biology. We invest in our equipment and maintain our trucks because the quality of our work shows up in the quality of your product.
Every bait shop we serve is a small business, and we respect what that means. We answer our phones, we show up when we say we will, and we treat your inventory like our own.
